Christopher Orchard is currently employed full-time as an Lecturer in Photography in the School of Communications and Creative Industries at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga Campus. He currently holds a Bachelor of Arts Multimedia in Web Design, a Bachelor of Arts Multimedia (Honours) in Photomedia and a Master of Arts (Honours) in Photography and Interactive Media. Christopher continues his study tracing concepts of sublimity, transcendence and mourning through into PhD candidature. Christopher is a founding member of Australian Portrait; Regional Australia’s leading resource and archive for contemporary social documentary photography in the portrait genre and is the editor of the photographic journal The Photo Critique. Christopher is the Gallery Manager for the H.R. Gallop Gallery and as takes an active interest in all areas of exhibition design and curatorial practice. Christopher Orchard is an internationally exhibiting photographer and designer who’s work is currently held in private and public collections internationally.
