James Farley is a student and lecturer at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Photography and is currently studying towards his Bachelor of Visual and Performing Arts (Hons). His research project is an investigation into the origins of Contemporary Romanticism and its relationship to the 21st Century Sublime. James’ other interests include alternative and experimental photographic processes, things that grow and music.
James’ romantic approach to landscape has seen his photographs included in multiple exhibitions both within Australia and in the USA. He is currently preparing for his first solo exhibition at the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery, which will be opening in August 2013.
